Below, we share our observations on some of the specific localization issues identified in Buffalo Blitz 3.

• Differences in character size between languages were not considered, leaving localized text excessively large or small and reducing readability.
• Unnecessary localization has been applied to the original artwork, substantially reducing the quality of the artwork itself.
• This might be understandable from a smaller studio, but a game from a major provider such as Playtech should have received greater attention in this area.
• Despite the game’s overall localization quality, elements on the opening or continuously visible main screen substantially diminish its perceived quality.
• Original-language and translated terms are mixed together. As a rule, each sentence should use one language. Mixing a language without letter case with a Latin-script language that distinguishes uppercase and lowercase makes the entire sentence look noticeably unstable. This inconsistency can also make the product feel unfinished.
• Terminology is inconsistent. Issues include confusion between singular and plural forms and different translations or transliterations of the same term.
• The source-language script contains errors, or some wording has been written in a way that is unsuitable for translation.
